Heads were being turned again at Raydon Wings, Pure Classics Air & Auto Show. A good crowd were treated to good weather and good flying, here in the form of the awesome P-47D, making its way past the double crowd-line.
A considerable number of immaculate veteran and vintage cars were on display amidst the stalls, making for a fine opportunity to part with money, which I did whilst the children were enjoying the Hadleigh High School Swing Band!

The Blenheim taxi-ing back from its display. There was a mere soft purr from its engines and the display was as high on grace as on nostalgia.

An improbable line up, perhaps, but a possibility .. with very little out of place as a period 30's-40's setting! |
