The central Plaza s a bustling and colourful centrepiece on a hot August weekday. Black and Decker, who have a discount shop in the village, were doing special promotions from the tent.

The central area has both trees and flowers, and a range of attractions and service, most notably fast food outlets.

The factory chimney overlooks proceedings. Retail outlets are largely housed in single-storey shops, with some, apparently older, buildings in some areas. The shops do sometimes change vendors, and move within the village.
